We hope you'll come out and join us on Saturday April 20th! For the 6th #cancer sucks bar crawl

We’ll start at 1 pm at Sun King in Fishers. 2:30 is at Parks Place Pub and at 4pm we’ll be at Chatham Tap. This year we have the honor of celebrating Kali Curry who was diagnosed with stage 4 Pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP) which is a rare tumor that grows slowly and causes a build-up of mucin (a jelly-like substance) in the abdomen and pelvis, giving rise to the name “jelly belly” (side note: all stomach cancers are considered stage 4 and never go into remission).

Kali was born in Indy and grew up in Noblesville so she's a definite Hoosier! She’s worked for several years in the service industry and she loves traveling, warmth, sunshine, beaches, running, tattoos and a good time.

The 5th Annual #cancersucks Bar Crawl: October 8th, 2022

Group pictures are back!

MEET THE RECIPIENT: SUE WILEY ANTHONY

She's a big Disney fan and enjoys a great beer too. Sue lost her husband, Brain Anthony to throat cancer in 2016. They were married for an amazing 20 years. Sue has attended every #CANCERSUCKS bar crawl event and was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sue was remarried to Jack (great guy by the way) and is currently cancer free!

The 4th Almost Annual “Not Quite A Bar Crawl” 2021

Out of practice and didn’t get the whole group in the photo.

meet the recipient Holly Pennywitt

Holly’s breast cancer returned, and the cancer had also traveled to her brain and she was in need of brain surgery or she had less than 3 weeks to live. Devastated, but solid in their faith in the Lord, her and her husband, Ryan battled. And they battled hard. She was surrounded by family and friends when she passed away in 2022. We loved Holly and we do this for her too! Rest in heaven Holly. We’ll never forget you.

Healthy Beautiful Holly

RECPIENTS: Chris Dickover and Tarena Lewis:

Chris was diagnosed with prostate and the most appropriate treatment for him an alternative to what insurance covered. We were able to (almost) raise enough funds for the surgery and Chris is now cancer free.

Tarena was diagnosed with breast cancer and while her prognosis was good, she had a pile of bills and wasn’t able to work for while. We were able to help her too!

Chris with his wife Lacy.

Tarena had breast cancer and is still cancer free!
